Sony playstation 3’s shooter Dirt 514 redesigned for the PC as Task Legion
CCP Games introduced throughout its Fanfest function that it must be working on a no cost-to-play Computer shooter that is set in the EVE On-line World which takes once the Ps 3’s Dirt 514.
Dust 514 is a totally free-to-perform multi-player first-particular person shooter that even CCP admits was not as wonderful as it could be (we weren’t followers of this sometimes). The idea is to re-imagine Dust 514 for the PC with more of a sandbox experience, even though cCP said that Project Legion is very early in development, and that it’s not even certain it will come out.
We want to do some fundamentally different things with it that we feel we missed out on and that we didn’t do right," VP of Product Development at CCP Sean Decker told Polygon, even though "At the end of the day we want to take the things we’ve learned from Dust, and yes it’s in the same IP, same place and all the rest of it.
CCP has clarified that it’s still working on new ps3 controller black content for Dust 514, and that if Project Legion does ever come out, Dust 514 players will be able to migrate their relevant data to the new PC game.
In case you skipped it, GameSpot was at Reykjavik, Iceland for EVE Fanfest 2014, in which we acquired a look at the most up-to-date variation of EVE: Valkyrie, stunningly reconstructed in Unreal Generator 4:
Finally, cCP today revealed a trailer for something called The Prophecy, which implies that the company’s three games: EVE: On the web, EVE: Valkyrie, and Dust 514 will converge in a few trend. The CGI trailer, which include components from all a few game titles (sizeable space battles, dogfighting, and infantry battle) just stops with all the words: “One universe // A single conflict.”
