One more Major 2014 Xbox Game Is Ditching Very last-Gen Consoles. Cool.

Nowadays, Warner Bros. declared a fresh Batman online game, called Arkham Knight. It's got a bit of interesting functions: An open-entire world Gotham City! A drivable Batmobile! And evenly interesting, it's only coming out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

To put it differently, there won't be described as a Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 System edition of Arkham Knight, nor will the overall game be coming to the similarly-powered Nintendo wii You. This inevitably happens at some point when transitioning to a new generation of consoles, but ever since the announcement of the PS4 and Xbox One, the question of when it would happen has lingered. This slip? Next, spring? Would we still be experiencing Xbox PS3 and 360 plug-ins of recent game titles in fall of 2015?

So, far, most cross-platform (or, non-platform exclusive) next-gen games have come with a last-gen counterpart. Watch Dogs will be at its best on next-gen PC and consoles, but there'll still be versions on PS3 and Xbox 360. Xbox 360 owners will get a version, too, although dualshock 3 titanfall will shine on Xbox One and PC. Criminal arrived on next-gen consoles but additionally on final-gen. Ditto the impending Dragon Grow older: Inquisition, Shadows of Mordor, and on and on. The WitcherEvolve and 3, and Ubisoft's The Team are some of the only 2014 go across-platform game titles never to include a last-gen edition.1
